Matthew Middle

Matt is a senior surveyor and provides customers with high level planning advice relating to trees, for example with Arboricultural Impact Assessments, Method Statements and Tree Protection Plans. He works from both our offices and from home, depending upon the demands of each project and customer.

Joining Arbtech from a period of self-employment, he has always been fascinated by trees and nature. Formerly an arboricultural surveyor at arboricultural consultancy, Simon Jones Associates, and thereafter an arboricultural consultant at Thomson Ecology, his experience is broad and his knowledge of the industry and e.g. BS5837 is second to none.

He has personally led work on a range of projects at Arbtech, from small house extensions that require simplistic tree surveys and minimal input, to much larger, more complex developments, such as schools, or sites for volume house builders, like Redrow Homes.
