Bat and Ecological Survey Farnborough & Rushmoor
Competitive, Fast, Reliable
If you are developing land in the Farnborough, Rushmoor or wider Hampshire area then the local planning authority requires as pre-requisite to accepting your planning application, that an ecological survey (or possibly a bat survey) is carried out in order to assess the potential impact of your development proposals upon local habitats. Natural England work closely with LPAs to ensure that the natural habitat of European protected species e.g. bats; and great crested newts is not negatively impacted. For further information on the planning conditions see the Rushmoor Borough Council web site:

An ecological report or bat survey (often called a Protected Species Survey, Phase 1 Habitat Survey, or Ecological Assessment) will be carried out at your site of proposed development. This will specifically reference species or habitats afforded legal protection under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and or Habitats Regulations 2010. Further survey work, where appropriate, will be specified in your resulting interpretive report and these recommendations are uniquely tailored to the nature and extent of your site.
