Our tree survey team members are encouraged to pursue internationally recognized professional memberships e.g. Professional Member of the Arboricultural Association (M.Arbor.A.) and the majority are certified to author tree survey reports for e.g. Mortgage Approval. Others include members and associates of the Institute of Chartered Foresters. We employ individuals, who are ex-local authority Tree/Arboricultural Officers; people who understand exactly what an authority is looking for in a BS5837 Tree Survey or TPO application, for example. Further, we benefit from over seven years of experience of providing detailed tree surveys for clients, both public and private, around the U.K. In fact, to date we estimate we have surveyed over 100,000 trees during our company’s expansion since 2004.

British Standard 5837:2005 “Trees in relation to construction — Recommendations” (BS5837) Tree Surveys, Tree Constraints Plans, Arboricultural Impact Assessments, Method Statement Reports and Tree Protection Plans for Planning and Development are almost always required for the vast majority or large and or complex planning applications. Indeed, most local planning authorities (LPAs) will not even validate your planning application without a tree survey of all trees within and adjacent to your development site. Tree surveys for mortgage approval and subsidence, from £249

You may require a tree survey for a lending application, or for peace of mind when Buying a House. This is normally to risk assess the tree or trees for gross defects that could present a hazard to people and or property. Also, it is to confirm that the property is/is not suffering from damage or influence by tree roots. Our tree surveyors are certified for Tree Survey Mortgage and Insurance Reporting and our £1,000,000 professional indemnity insurance policy ensures that you are in safe hands.

Tree surveys for health and safety & risk assessment, from £299

Another reason could be that you wish to exercise your Duty of Care by having your trees surveyed for reasons that relate to Health and Safety. We deal with this by providing positive recording tree surveys, which mean your money is spent only on our time recording, inspecting and reporting on trees with gross defects. After all, most users of survey reports don’t care–quite rightly–where and what their healthy and defect free trees are. This is particularly successful when providing tree surveys for large private gardens, municipal property or e.g. schools.
